Sedona Sunrise (Album Version)

$6.99

I'm honored to be able to present Sedona Sunrise, which was written by my harp teacher, Cynthia Artish. I was still studying with her when she composed the tune, and I can distinctly remember the first time she played it for me... I was undergoing a rather intensive "apprenticeship" with her in which I studied, observed other's lessons, and sat in on many of her professional engagements. I was reasonably far along in my studies so when she began to play Sedona Sunrise, I did exactly what I'd been taught: I watched, I listened, I slowly began to track the chords and patterns. Before I knew it, I was playing along with gusto! Sedona became the first of many songs that I learned "on the job," and I've enjoyed playing it ever since. This arrangement features a couple of extended harp techniques: slap bass, soundboard percussion, and prés de la table.

• Level: Intermediate

• Key: G Major (one sharp)

• Chords: No (bass repeats throughout)

• Fingering: None

• Brackets: None
